Legal

Documents covering terms of service, acceptable use, API terms, SLA, support policy, AI policy, and trademark / copyright.

This page collects the legal side of Atalie’s public work. Use it to confirm baseline assumptions before opening a specific terms or policy page.

Basic assumptions

Legal text exists to make rights and responsibilities clear. The aim is fair terms that people can actually read, not opaque wording that hides one-sided conditions.

  • Third-party trademarks, materials, and licenses follow their own terms

  • Availability, accuracy, and content can change without notice

  • Because no service currently requires heavy legal packaging, these documents stay minimal for now. They will be updated promptly as offerings start or expand

If a product or service has more specific terms, prefer those when they apply.

Filings and applications in Japan

When offering services in Japan, Atalie will complete the notices and applications the nature of the business requires.

Nothing in that category is filed yet because no covered offering is live. When services launch, expected steps include:

  • Telecommunications business notification — Apps with chat or messaging may require notification under the Telecommunications Business Act (e.g., to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications)

  • Specified Commercial Transaction Act disclosures — Paid services require business identity, pricing, payment terms, cancellation terms, and related display duties

  • Other registrations — As laws such as the Payment Services Act or APPI call for filings or registrations, those will be handled with the relevant authorities without delay

Solo operation is not a reason to skip administrative duties.
